FIELD: automotive industry; ecologically clean engine units for automobiles.

SUBSTANCE: engine has superflywheel mechanically coupled with output shaft of independent drive made in the form of internal combustion detonation engine with cylinder block of paired cylinders with dividing pistons forming combustion chambers with detonators, and underpiston hydraulic spaces communicating through working fluid main line and connected with hydraulic turbine installed on output shaft of independent drive. This makes it possible for drive employing detonation combustion of fuel to raise the speed of superflywheel to high values and transmit large amount of energy within short period of time both in motion and at standstill for long smokeless and noiseless operation of inertia engine as engine unit for automobile.

EFFECT: no adverse effect on environment.
